World Space Week!
World Space Week is an international celebration of science and technology, and the contribution to the betterment of the human condition through space exploration. The United Nations General Assembly declared in 1999 that World Space Week will be held each year from the 4th to the 10th October.
This year, the children of Cordwalles Junior School embarked on a full day jam packed with Space themed activities from Moon themed poetry to galactic inspired art in Year 3, Space themed yoga in Year 4, creating rockets and Spacesuits in Year 5 and Year 6. We hope this interactive day created long lasting memories for all our children and inspired them to learn more about our Universe.
