GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

25th Anniversary World Book Day Celebrations!

Yesterday, the children and staff at Cordwalles Junior School took part in the celebrations for the 25th Anniversary of World Book Day!  The children came to school dressed as their favourite book character and spent the day taking part in various reading and writing challenges.  Each class had the opportunity to write their own part to a whole school story.  We look forward to seeing the final version!  The children also completed a 10 minute writing challenge with Authorfy along with several other class-based reading activites throughout the day.

The costumes were truely inspiring.  From the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz to a Minecraft figure, superheroes and villains to virtually a whole class of Hogwarts students!  We would like to thank you all for your continued support, the children looked amazing and they certainly had a fun filled day!
