Headteacher's Welcome

Cordwalles is a two-form entry junior school within the GLF Multi Academy Trust. GLF stands for grow, learn and flourish - this lies at the heart of everything that we do. Through this partnership, we benefit from sharing outstanding resources and practice across a range of schools. We work closely with Pine Ridge and Lorraine Infant and Nursery Schools, offering consistency in our approach to children's learning and pastoral care from the ages of 2-11.

The Cordwalles values are at the heart of all that we do in our school.  These form a strong link between the support we provide for children to grow and the robust systems we have in place to ensure that children achieve in all areas of their learning.

Our values are:

RESPECT - ENDEAVOUR - SUCCEED

At Cordwalles, we are committed to providing the very best educational opportunities for your child. We aim to provide a wide range of enrichment experiences for all children, giving them the opportunity to discover new skills and push themselves to develop resilience and confidence. For more information about our broad and balanced curriculum offer, please visit the curriculum pages on this website.

Relationships between staff and pupils are excellent and behaviour is outstanding, characterised by mutual respect and high expectations of everyone in our school community. We pride ourselves on our inclusive, happy, safe environment in which all members of the school community work together to encourage all children to flourish.

As you navigate our website you will begin to build up a picture of our school community. By visiting us you will understand why people comment on the friendliness of the school atmosphere. When you meet our children, you will know why we are so often complimented on their positive behaviour and their enthusiasm for learning.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and we would be happy to meet with you to discuss your child's future education. We hope that you will join us in supporting your child to fulfil their potential and we look forward to welcoming you to Cordwalles.
